Malcolm Price: Welcoming people to Furzey Gardens

Malcolm Price has been volunteering as a meet and greeter at Furzey Gardens. Find out more about his experience from his point of view.

The Meet and Greet role really came into its own when Covid regulations allowed visitors to return to Furzey Gardens during the summer of 2020. We are the first point of contact with visitors as they enter the gardens and it is lovely to welcome both new and returning visitors alike. The Meet & Greet role also offers the opportunity to engage with the public about the work of the Trust and there is rarely a week when the gardens aren’t offering some new event of interest.

This role is a must for anyone who likes meeting people!
