Gill: Hanger Farm Front of House volunteer

I have been a Hanger Farm volunteer for many years now, but I was absolutely thrilled when the centre formed part of Minstead Trust, boosting my desire to continue volunteering in such a unique and atmospheric building for such a great cause.  I thoroughly enjoy meeting and socialising with people and so the Front of House “meet and greet” role is perfect for me. As well as mixing with guests and visitors to Hanger Farm, I have greatly enjoyed meeting and working alongside my fellow volunteers too, arranging many social gatherings, which has allowed us to get to know each other better. The result of this is that we have become really good friends!

I can honestly say I have found volunteering at Hanger Farm thoroughly rewarding and even more rewarding to think that I am giving my time to such a worthy cause.  Three cheers for Minstead Trust!
