Ed: keeping busy through Covid

‘At the start of the Covid lockdown, I went home for a while and then I came back to day opportunities when it was safe.

‘I’m in the orange team in the bubble in New Forest Day Opportunities . I do a bit of groundwork, a bit in the wood workshop and a bit in the gardens. I like cutting lawns and tidying Minstead Lodge for weddings in the future.

‘This autumn I enjoyed cutting some flowers for the harvest festival.

‘It’s been ok this year, lockdown hasn’t made me feel worried. I did miss the New Forest Show though as that wasn’t on this year. I helped out on our stand lots last year.

‘The other people and my support workers here have helped me stay happy.’
