We can support you to live in your own home or in a shared house.

There are lots of ways we can help you to be more independent so that you can manage your tenancy and your money and look after yourself and your home.

Whether you need half a day of help each week or 24 hour support, our friendly, experienced team can help.

We can help with going to the bank, post, shopping, cooking, arranging social activities and holidays, health and appointments.

With our support you can live a more independent life and may even take steps to achieving things you had only dreamed of before.

New Forest Supported Living

We have been providing support for people to live in their own homes in the New Forest and surrounding areas for several decades.

In total we support over 40 people across 14 properties, primarily in Totton.

As part of our more complete approach to support, many tenants benefit from close proximity to our popular day opportunities in Minstead. They can also have access to local community groups, community theatre and work training through Empowering Employment.

Poole Supported Living

This is Minstead Trust’s most recent supported living service and supports 37 people to live more independently.

Our range of support for people in their own homes is part of a more holistic approach to providing support. It is complemented by advice for those looking for a job through Empowering Employment and representation for family carers in the BCP area.

Lily, who is supported by Minstead Trust in Poole, said: ‘I love living in my house, we get lots of support and have lovely carers coming in. I go out and go shopping with my one-to-one support – Minstead Trust people are really nice.’
