Volunteer Documentation/Video Creator

Role Description:

Minstead Trust has a number of services along the South Coast, from Poole to Portsmouth. These services include:

• Supported living
• Residential
• Day Operations
• Social Enterprises
• Central Services (Based in Minstead)

We have a diverse range of staff who we ask to interact with a number of IT systems across the organisation. We are now seeking to improve our documentation and training resources for these systems.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for IT and digitally confident volunteers who can create written guides and/or short videos on how to carry out key IT tasks. We are especially seeking people who are confident users of Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office – including outlook, word and excel.

Ideally we’re looking for a minimum commitment of 1 x day per month, (Mon – Fri, 9:30am – 4pm) but can happily be flexible.

Location: This role could be based either at Minstead Lodge in the New Forest or remotely from home.

About Minstead Trust:

Minstead Trust is a charity based in the New Forest and Portsmouth which offers a range of Supported Living, Residential Care, Day Opportunities, Community Programmes and Social Enterprises (including Furzey Gardens and Hanger Farm Arts Centre) to over 320 adults with learning disabilities. Supporting them, and their families, we provide opportunities which encourage the people we support to develop greater independence. We do this through improved health and well-being, the development of life skills and increasing employability.
