An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us with working within our friendly and dedicated Housing Related and Community Support Services around Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole.

Support Worker

Part-time up to 30 hours per week

Shift patterns: Shifts between Monday to Sunday 8am – 7pm

Flexible shifts, 365 days a year (incl. weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis)

Salary: £11.50 per hour (Rising to £12.50  per hour subject to skills assessment after 6 months)

This can be done through support to live in their own homes, learning new skills at day opportunities or receiving work training to move towards employment.

The Role:

  • To support individuals to meet their goals and outcomes in health, wellbeing, and independence
  • Assist individuals with their needs where required, whilst maintaining accurate records
  • To work as part of a team as well as lone working within the community as needed
  • Work with allocated individuals as their keyworker
  • Interact and communicate with the people you support in a way that promotes dignity and respect
  • Support individuals with everyday tasks as required.

  • Motivated, honest, and approachable individuals who are great at building and nurturing relationships
  • Experience of providing high levels of care and support to those with learning disabilities in a social care setting or within the community
  • Aspirations to develop skills at support worker level and beyond!

  • Due to the location of the role a UK Driving licence with access to a motorised vehicle is essential
