As a Service and Hospitality support staff, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day to day running of a Cafe whilst supporting people with learning disabilities to develop their hospitality skills.

The role:

  • Coaching and mentoring people with learning disabilities as full members of the team in the preparation of coffee and light snacks, along with till training, customer service,e and daily café duties
  • To support and assist the Manager in running an efficient business which generates income for the charitable organisation
  • Overseeing the day-to-day food requirements: ordering, stock control in order to maximise sales and minimise wastage
  • Ensuring that the kitchen is compliant with Food hygiene standards – achieving and maintaining five-star EHO rating.
  • Ensuring that the service to customers is efficient and reviewing where necessary.

What are we looking for?

  • CIEH Level 2 award in supervising Food safety in catering
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience working with people with learning disabilities is desirable
  • Sound understanding of EHO regulations and Health &Safety Laws
