Tricia’s story: Leaving a gift in her Will to Minstead Trust

Tricia has done something amazing and pledged a gift in her Will to support people with learning disabilities at Minstead Trust.

Minstead Trust was started over 35 years ago, and in that time, we have grown from supporting three learning disabled adults, at Furzey Gardens, to supporting over 300 people in Hampshire and Dorset.

One way we’ve been able to expand is through gifts in Wills, which make a huge difference to the work of the Trust. Remembering Minstead Trust in your Will, whether you’ve supported us recently or in the past, is a chance to have a lasting impact into the future on the lives of people with learning disabilities.

Tricia is one of the special people whose gift in her Will will help make wonderful things happen for people with learning disabilities who are supported by Minstead Trust.

‘I’ve been volunteering at Minstead Trust for about ten years now. When I was writing my Will, it was just something I knew I wanted to do, to leave a gift in it to the Trust.

‘I feel that leaving a sum of money in my Will to Minstead Trust will help, and continue the wonderful work here, to really help people to continue to flourish and achieve their potential.’
