Join us for our ever-popular fiendish and fun murder mystery dining event, this time at the Macdonald Botley Park Hotel in Southampton.
Tickets are £49 per person and include a welcome drink, a two-course dinner with after-dinner tea and coffee and all the night’s evening entertainment!
The story:
It’s 1928 and talking pictures are delighting audiences worldwide. Tonight is the launch of Rod Ducer’s latest blockbuster – Little House of Horrors and you are invited to the hotel to celebrate. The guest list is long, including Rod’s wife, Tricia Trove, Mr Herbie Ravioli the finance man behind Rod’s next movie, scriptwriter Dick Shinnery who appears uninvited and Vicky Vicious, an up-and-coming young starlet. Everyone seems to be in the party mood, until the police arrive and announce a murder. With your help, the crime can be solved and the murderer apprehended.

Whilst you enjoy your dinner served at your table, watch the mystery unfold through live performances from the actors. Interrogate the characters and uncover the clues, before offering your solutions to solve the crime. A great fun night, come with friends, colleagues or even alone, you are sure to have a great time. The acting action is brought to you by the team from Organise Events Ltd. To add to the fun you may wish to dress in 1920’s costume, this is entirely optional although smart dressing is preferred please.
Information about the venue and event timings:
The event will be held at the Macdonald Botley Park Hotel, SO32 2UA in Southampton with plenty of free onsite parking. Doors open at 7pm to be seated for 7.30pm when the fun begins.

How money is raised for charity:
Ticket sales, a raffle on the night and optional donations for extra fun clues all help to raise money for Minstead Trust.
Useful information for booking your tickets:
Tables seat 10 guests. You can book a party of up to and including 10 people. If you wish for your party to be seated together, please book as one group at the point of booking. Our system will allocate your seats together. Therefore please have all your party’s menu choices and dietary requirements to hand before booking (menu choices below).
Get a FREE ticket when you book a table of 10 at the point of purchasing. Book ten places in one transaction and only pay for nine! Just use the code Movie10 at checkout. Discounts cannot be applied after booking or for smaller groups.
If you have booked for less than 10 people, other smaller groups may join you at your table – this adds to the fun and completes the table of 10. Once you have booked, we cannot make changes to your booking.
Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer refunds if you or a party member cannot attend. However, you can gift their place (and chosen meal) to a friend – just let us know at least 48 hours beforehand and we will do our best to accommodate the swap – please email: lesley.brooks@minsteadtrust.org.uk
