‘I have been introduced to the work that Minstead Trust does and have been impressed with the diverse avenues that the charity has undertaken to meet its goals.’
I was born in Havana, Cuba and grew up in New York City. After graduating from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1979, I joined ExxonMobil, where I spent 39 years, primarily, in the project development and management of Global Chemicals and Refining facilities.
I have had the opportunity and good fortune to live and work in 7 countries and have enjoyed being exposed to different cultures and customs. I retired in 2018 from ExxonMobil as the Chief Engineering Advisor for Downstream Projects.
I have been married to Nicky for 38 years and have 2 grown children: Our son, Tom works in Los Angeles and our daughter, Sarah, works in London. We moved to the New Forest in 2016 and enjoy living here. We love to travel and spend several months in the USA or other parts of the world seeing friends and family and visiting new places.
Through ExxonMobil, I have worked as a volunteer in the United Way Charities in the USA and local charities in Singapore. I have been introduced to the work that Minstead Trust does and have been impressed with the diverse avenues that the charity has undertaken to meet its goals.
