An exuberant comedy about four likely lasses from a Hull fish factory on a day trip to the races, by the company who brought you Lilies on the Land, last year.

Work, love and life are just one long, hard slog for the fish-filleting foursome Pearl, Jan, Shelley and Linda. But their fortunes are set to change when Linda finds tickets to Ladies’ Day at Royal Ascot the year it relocated to York.

Hilarity ensues when the Yorkshire lasses mix it with the upper classes and celebrities, as they head off to the races for a drink, a flirt and a flutter. Join the fun and see if they can hit the jackpot – and more besides…

Ladies’ Day premiered in 2005 and is one of the most performed comedies of recent times. Amanda Whittington is one of the most regularly performed playwrights in the UK.
