Changes to your visit and membership in 2023

We are making some changes to our garden memberships and suggested entrance donations.
Over the last few months we have been reviewing our Furzey Gardens membership offer. Following this we will be making some changes to our memberships to ensure that we offer the best value to visitors, whilst also making sure that we keep our costs to a minimum, enabling the gardens to continue to flourish and support people with learning disabilities.
The great news is that there will be no increase in the suggested donation for memberships in 2023:
- Single membership will remain at just £23
- Two person memberships remains at just £45
- Three person memberships remain at just £65
From the 1 January the following changes apply:
- All memberships now come with free entry for four under 16s, this applies to all memberships that were taken out in 2022 as well as any new memberships that are taken out from 1 January this year. This also means we will no longer offer a family membership type.
- New style cards non-plastic cards will be posted out for memberships taken out after 1 January. These new cards are more environmentally friendly than our old plastic cards and also help us lower our costs.
- New memberships are now for named members only and are not transferrable. For example, a two person membership includes two cards, each with a name on it for that person to use. This does not apply to existing memberships, but on renewal you will move to named member cards.
Garden entrance
Our visitor garden entrance prices for non-members have remained the same for a number of years, however with the prices for many things rising we have had to take the decision to make a small increase to our suggested donation for visitor entry this year. We are also asking all visitors to pre-book their visit online prior to visiting, which helps us to manage our capacity, staffing and also our car park.
